Jackie 60 was once of the greatest parties in the world. Held weekly on Tuesday nights in the meat packing district of Manhattan from 1990 to 1999 it brought together a diverse mix of people sharing new performance, great music, cutting edge fashion and sexuality in a great club with a little stage that changed weekly with each new theme. Founded by DJ Johnny Dynell, writer and producer Chi Chi Valenti, Fashion Designer Kitty Boots and Choreographer/ Dancer Richard Move they were later joined by Performer / singer Hattie Hathaway. The club welcomed an alternative following of poets, drag queens, butch women, beautiful gay & straight men and artists of every expression and medium to it's stage and dance floor. This is just a small collection of the wonderful nights I spent there during it's ten year life span. Preview book and order here: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/595856
